What is Syriana about?
Oil. Wealth. Politics. Corruption. This movie has several separate narratives that crossover. These stories include an illegal collusion between international corporations, a family whose young son dies, a CIA operative, a father and son who lose their jobs and face deportation as well as a royal family who must decide the fate of their country.

Who is my favorite character? Why?
I like Matt Damon’s character. I think he deals with his life incredibly well considering the tragedy he and his family go through.
What this movie’s famous line?
Bryan Woodman played by Matt Damon.
“What are they thinking? They’re thinking that it’s running out. It’s running out… and ninety percent of what’s left is in the Middle East. This is a fight to the death.”
What elemental message do I see?
Undoubtedly power corrupts. With coming of riches and power, I must certainly remember that I have a responsibility to my fellow man. And by no means is it okay to gain from somebody else’s suffering.
