Seen the Curious Case of Benjamin Button lately?
I wondered if there was such a thing? I did my research and found the Lifecell All in One Anti Aging Cream…..and the Benjamin Button process began. But first my story.
Ever wanted your youth to come back? It’s certainly a great film, a howler as a matter of fact. Some of Brad Pitt’s best acting. I’m an advocate of this movie since Cate Blanchett is the leading lady as well. She is a great actress. We’ve had movies where the stories have been about time travelers, immortals, and mutant but never anything like this.
Secretly, we were all a little bit jealous of the fact that he got the old age ailments out of the way first while he was still young and naive. Then as he got older, his youth set in like his hair becoming fuller, bone and muscle pains subsiding, hearing and vision improving and, of course, his skin tightening and wrinkles disappearing!
The Curious Case of Rohan
I’ve never taken an interest in cosmetics or creams; I’m a man who grew up in the country, quite care-free. In saying that, I have this tendency to burn the candle at both ends through big nights and bad life choices. Only just recently I’ve discovered it was starting to take its toll with a few wrinkles showing. This is when I stumbled upon the Lifecell All One Anti Aging Cream.
I didn’t go looking for anything at first, I was just simply stating this fact to my housemate but she then pointed me in a direction I wouldn’t have usually dared cross. She gave me some leftover moisturizer which I finished and swore I would not tell anyone I was used.
But I get it now. I remember when I laughed or smiled; I could actually feel the tightness in my face. I thought this was just a usual thing. However, it is from having dry skin; you probably already know this though. I didn’t notice the tightness in my face had returned until a few days of finishing that cream. I then thought “Wow, I don’t care about aging, but I’m going to look 50 at 30. Something needs to be done.”
Yes, of course, some lifestyle choices have to be changed but I’m not going to fully give up going out and having a good time so I needed something else. If there was only something that could make me stay looking young? I questioned my housemate, and she pointed me in the way of using an anti aging cream. Enter Lifecell.
I’m a little embarrassed to be a man and using this, so I just don’t tell my mates. I’ll never hear the end of it. At any rate, here is a rundown of this product. The best advice I can give you is to get into a routine with the stuff since it is a great product. I get annoyed at myself when I forget to because it is recommended to be put on day and night for the best results. And also with that best results thing, the wrinklier the skin the better the results.
This product can is promoted as the human eye cannot see wrinkle lines but the shadows. Lifecell therefore tricks the eye. That’s terrible, I wish they wouldn’t say that, fire the marketing campaigner. I’d quickly like to footnote that it does have long-term effects with anti-oxidants and a skin toner. Nevertheless, it works by deflecting light of your face in a way that hides wrinkles, that’s how the immediate effect works. So if you don’t really have wrinkles yet, those huge benefits aren’t going to come calling. You can’t fix what’s not broken.
I’m a 26 year old male, so I can sort of see some change, especially under my eyes; I have sleep apnoea, and as a consequence, have constant black saggy bags. So it kinda takes care of that. Other than that though I can only feel the difference.
I’ve seen some comments from reviews about this product where they’re getting compliments in the first day from women aged 50+. Then I’ve seen some comments where they didn’t notice or feel anything in 2 weeks and were about stop. However, they’ve finished the tube and were absolutely blown from 1 month’s results. Then, of course, there are the people who say they haven’t had any results and have stopped. That’s okay too, each to their own I suppose, depends on who you are.
When I first used Lifecell, I was surprised at how thick it was; to get technical, its viscosity is high! This I found a little difficult to spread evenly around my face but it’s not a big deal. It doesn’t bother me but it’s free of any added fragrances or aroma, which is good if you want to keep it natural. It doesn’t smell awful or anything though.
Reviews suggest people really like this anti-ager because it supplements using 3-4 products, depending on what you do, to just using the one. It replaces a dark spot remover, a moisturizer, a facial firmer and under-eye treatment. To me, spending $189.00 on a cream was insane but I can see now the value for money, you’d easily burn through that amount purchasing several different creams.
In addition, you get the added convenience of just using a single product, and not running out of any one cream and having to remember to restock. I’d like to mention also that in Q&A forums I see questions asking whether moisturizer can be applied as well. My personal opinion is that there is no need but the answer is, yes you can, after waiting a few minutes. By the way, I don’t use make-up, but I know this also applies here as well.
The 5 Main Active Components
1. Dithiolane-3-Pentanic Acid (D3PA) – A powerful anti-oxidant and anti-inflammatory
2. Ascorbyl Palmitate – A form of Vitamin C, that helps reduce wrinkles
3. Ubiquinone – Another anti-oxidant, boosts collagen production
4. Acetyl Hexapeptide-3 – An anti-wrinkle agent that is considered a safe alternative to cosmetic surgery. Which by the way, an alternative to cosmetic surgery, is an overall angle Lifecell takes in their advertisements to promote this cream. And I’d have to agree. For a simple cream to have results akin to someone taking a scalpel to your face isn’t a bad swap. Plus I think the cream is more affordable.
5. Deanol – Achieves long term facial muscle toning, reducing the effects of gravity!
I suffered from acne for 10 year or so. It was never severe and I don’t really have many scars but I did constantly get spots. Still now, I’ll get very minor ones here and there at the same time but I’m not embarrassed about it anymore. I could definitely say that I have sensitive skin and was very careful what I put on my face for years. I’ve noticed that Lifecell hasn’t agitated my skin at all, the blemishes haven’t returned and in general my skin tone is even and feels healthy. This was big relief for me because I wanted the benefits without the acne returning.
Do I Recommend This Product?
There is much promotion and hype surrounding the Lifecell All in One Anti-Aging Cream which in a way makes it out to be the latest fad. People then tend to be a little bit cautious. I really want to say though that it does its job. For $189.00, I can see immediate results but I like to think of it as an investment in myself, that’s my own peace of mind. Hopefully, the real pay-off will come down the road when I’m in my 50s and can still swash-buckle my way through the city with some boyish charm and good looks.
Just kidding, but you know what I mean. Only you really know your situation so make up your own mind about Lifecell. But I love it, think it’s great and fully stand behind it.

My Rating: 9.5 / 10
- Actually works, I don’t know about 17 seconds but 2 minutes for sure.
- Buying the convenience of using 3-4 products down to 1.
- Quick and easy
- Immediate and long-term benefits
- For me, made my skin more hydrated and elastic, cleared discoloration and bags from underneath my eyes.
- For others, reduces age spots, hides wrinkles immediately
- Better skin appearance for the future
- Thickness makes it tricky to spread around the face.
- No SPF protection, sunscreen needs to be added later. (I found this so interesting and couldn’t help but no include this.
- If your face isn’t overly wrinkly may not see massive results as promoted. However, I can almost guarantee that it will do something.
